Description

Review the pathoanatomy of fixational eye movements including microsaccades, tremor and drift and their overlap with saccades. Describe the vague visual symptoms that may occur when FEMs are over or under responsive and their implications in neurologic disease. Discuss the utility of FEMs in diagnosis and treatment of neurologic and ophthalmologic disorders like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, TBI, macular degeneration and amblyopia.
