Technical Workshop #1 - Optimizing Stationary Storage for Grid Connected Solutions

Customized Energy Solutions (CES) will present advanced techniques to optimize energy storage for grid-connected projects, focusing on North American ISOs/RTOs. This workshop aims to enhance grid stability, flexibility, and efficiency while ensuring financial viability. Participants will explore various energy storage technologies, compare their technical aspects, and discuss respective market applications. Through demonstrations, case studies, and collaborative discussions, attendees will learn to select appropriate storage technologies, manage charge-discharge cycles, and integrate storage with renewables. Attendees will also be able to understand revenue options available in the market and their stacking. With a special focus on IESO’s LT2 contract in Ontario, CES will discuss comprehensive insights into optimal use of battery based on the project location and their revenues in the changing market structure.
