Brad Duguid is a well-respected Canadian business and political leader. He served in public office for close to 23 years leading seven different cabinet portfolios including Minister of Energy; Economic Development; Infrastructure; Research and Innovation; Training, Colleges and Universities; Aboriginal Affairs; Labour and Accessibility. He also served as a Municipal Councillor in Toronto for 3 terms.

During his tenure as Minister of Energy, Brad developed and launched Ontario’s first true Long-Term Energy Plan. He was a strong proponent of renewable energy and storage, nuclear power, and a champion of innovation in building a smarter grid. Brad was also a champion of Indigenous Reconciliation and partnerships.

Brad’s private sector work has involved providing strategic advice, partnership building, Indigenous strategy, government relations and communications expertise to his clients. Brad is a Senior Counsel at Sussex Strategy Group where he supports their business growth and focuses on a variety of sectors including Indigenous Reconciliation and partnerships, mining, municipal government, health technology, the innovation sector, and energy among others.
