Mr. Greenhouse is an experienced leader in the Canadian Renewable Energy industry, having led companies developing, constructing, and operating over 4 GW of renewable energy and storage capacity across Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. Ben has led teams that have developed and constructed 16 of Canada's largest wind-energy projects and have successfully contracted the largest energy storage project in Canada.

Mr. Greenhouse currently leads the executive team at Potentia, with a focus on strategic growth. During his time with Potentia Ben has led Potentia through the successful origination, construction, and/or operation of more than 3 GW of renewables and storage in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. Formerly the Executive Director of Development at NextEra Energy Canada, Ben led NextEra Energy’s Canadian team as they created a Canadian presence for North America’s largest renewable energy owner and operator.

Ben has served two 3-year terms on the board of the Canadian Wind Energy Association (now the Canadian Renewable Energy Association), where he held the roles of chair and treasurer. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo.
