Adam Law is Chief Engineer of the Multi-Purpose Vessel project at Seaspan Vancouver Shipyards, western Canada’s leading shipbuilder. Adam leads the design and engineering of the next generation of multi-role icebreakers for the Canadian Coast Guard under the National Shipbuilding Strategy, from concept design though to delivery of the completed vessel. He has worked on several Canadian Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy newbuilds since immigrating to Canada in 2014, specialising in marine structures, production engineering and technical leadership roles. Prior to this, Adam was an engineer on a variety of naval ship construction and naval weapon systems projects in the UK. Adam has a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham. He is a registered Professional Engineer in BC, and a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
