Emily Wehbi is the Director, Marine Charter & Strategic Initiatives, Defense & Marine Procurement Branch, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Emily is a dynamic, skilled, and personable leader with a tremendous level of knowledge of government operations and extensive experience collaborating with other departments and central agencies on whole-of-government initiatives related to environmental protection and reconciliation. Emily is currently the Director of the Marine Services and Strategic Initiatives directorate at Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), where she is responsible for a diverse breadth of programs and initiatives related to marine procurement modernization, industry engagement, increasing Indigenous participation in procurement, greening, environmental remediation and vessel recycling services. Prior to joining the Defense and Marine Procurement Branch, Emily was the director of PSPC's Cabinet Submissions directorate where she was responsible for the management and oversight of the department's Treasury Board submissions. Emily has also worked for the Department of Justice, the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Parks Canada Agency. Emily is originally from North Vancouver but currently lives in Ottawa with her family and three children.
