Chris has been working in the field of electrical engineering design since graduating over 30 years ago. For the last 14 years he has specialized in the design of marine power and propulsion plants and has had first-hand experience of the trend towards increasing electrification. He has been at the forefront of new trends in electrified propulsion, including hybrid and zero-emission systems. Currently Chris is part of the team at Canal responsible for the conversion of the ferry Marilyn Bell to fully electric zero-emission operation.
