Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), in collaboration with the Department of National Defence (DND), Department of Fisheries and Ocean (DFO) and Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), Transport Canada (TC), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), are pleased to present the next Federal Marine Procurement Outlook session on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 14:00 to 15:00 at the Mari-Tech 2025 Conference, held this year at the Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal, Quebec.
Building upon the success of last year’s event, this session is free of charge and will provide an overview of upcoming procurements, over the course of the next three years, in areas such as small vessel construction, vessel repair, refit and life extension, in-service support, sustainment, vessel chartering, disposal and other special projects in the realm of marine equipment. PSPC aims to leverage this opportunity to engage industry stakeholders in alignment with the principles of Smart Procurement: Early Engagement, Effective Governance, Independent Advice, and Benefits for Canadians.
Following the Procurement Outlook session, PSPC will host a Marine Industry Indigenous and DEI Networking Event. This event provides a unique platform for marine industry suppliers to engage directly with Indigenous Suppliers, Indigenous Economic Development Corporation Representatives, DEI Suppliers, and Government of Canada officials. The purpose of this gathering is to foster meaningful connections that will lead to long-term, mutually beneficial collaborations. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore diverse opportunities for inclusive involvement in federal marine procurement, including subcontracting, joint ventures, and employment/ apprenticeship pathways.
