Michelle McRae is an accomplished engineering professional with a budding career in the maritime and electrification sectors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University, where she also completed a minor in Business Management. Michelle holds the role of Project Engineer at The CSL Group Inc., where her and her team lead the conceptual development of an electric shipping network on the Great Lakes & St-Lawrence Seaway. Her role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, developing technical designs, and leading funding initiatives. Before undertaking this function, Michelle gained expertise in technical fleet operations, dry dock management overseas, cost tracking and analysis, fleet digitization, and operational optimization. Outside of the office, Michelle is also a certified Spin Instructor and has a passion for music, food and travel.
