Capt. Kristopher Drodge leads the School of Maritime Studies at the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland.

An advocate for a sustainable future in Newfoundland and Labrador's offshore and maritime industry, supported by a career that has led to senior management roles within the offshore industry, he is responsible for providing the strategic direction for the school and day-to-day leadership of its academic programs, research and industry partnerships. He helps develop and maintain relationships with students, industry, academia, community, alumni and government to ensure continued effectiveness of academic programs and research activities.

Capt. Drodge is an alumni of both the Marine Institute (Nautical Science) and of Memorial University (Maritime Studies). He holds a Master Mariner and Offshore Installation Manager CoC from Transport Canada. He lives in Torbay, Newfoundland and Labrador, with his wife Amy and daughter Mallory.
