Ms. Manou Bernard is a graduate of the Institut Maritime du Québec in Navigation. She has extensive experiences in the maritime field, having worked there as a navigation officer, crewing and operations manager and as coordinator of a training and maritime expertise department for seagoing personnel within a shipping company situated in Quebec. She also has studies in intermodal transport logistics and management. She is now Director General of the Maritime Industry Workforce Sectoral Committee since January 2021.
