Anita Pawluk is CEO of RaceRocks, a women-led and Certified Indigenous-owned Business, specializing in training modernization through immersive digital solutions to the defence, aerospace, and maritime sectors. Of Métis heritage, Anita brings her values of kindness, integrity, and humility to the forefront of everything she does—guiding RaceRocks with a deep commitment to reconciliation, innovation, and economic empowerment. Anita is a passionate advocate for inclusive growth in the tech industry. She believes that revitalizing the Indigenous economy is central to Canada’s future, and that true partnership can drive both economic sustainability and community prosperity. Through initiatives like the Indigenous Mariner Training (IMT) program, Anita and her team are actively building new pathways for Indigenous leadership and participation—strengthening the cultural, environmental, and economic resilience of Canada’s coastal communities. Under Anita’s leadership, RaceRocks was named ViaTec’s “Employer of the Year” in 2022 and BC Tech’s “Excellence in Company Culture” award winner in 2024. The company has also been recognized by Canadian Defence Review as one of Canada’s Top 60 Defence Companies.
