These terms and conditions (these "Terms") govern your registration for and participation in the 2022 AGE-WELL Annual Conference (the "Event") and are an agreement between AGE-WELL ("we," "us," or "our") and You. You represent to us that You are authorized to enter into these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully and ensure You understand them. Registering to attend this Event acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and provisions of registration in accordance with these Terms. If You do not agree with any of the terms or conditions described herein, please do not register for the Event.

Note: These Terms may be revised at any time by AGE-WELL and will take immediate effect upon posting to our website. If one or more of the conditions outlined in these Terms should become invalid, the remaining conditions will remain valid and apply. By attending the Event or registering after the effective date of any changes to these Terms, You agree to be bound by the modified terms. It is your responsibility to check our website regularly for such changes. Please refer to the top of the Terms for the last modified date.

MEDIA RELEASE

During the 2022 AGE-WELL Annual Conference we will be taking pictures and videos that will be used for future AGE-WELL communications purposes such as website content or public presentations.

You hereby grant AGE-WELL and its employees or agents the right to photograph and video, and to use the photos and other digital media for all non-profit publication processes, whether electronic, print, digital or electronic publishing via the internet.

 

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

It is possible to cancel a conference registration or name a substitute participant through October 1, 2022. Requests to cancel a conference registration or name a substitute participant should be sent by e-mail to conference@agewell-nce.ca. Refunds will be subject to a $50 administrative charge. For substitutions, please send the name and full contact information of the substitute participant. Please include your registration confirmation number in all requests. Refunds will be issued 4 - 6 weeks after the conference concludes.

No cancellations, refunds or substitutions will be possible after October 1, 2022. Delegates are advised to purchase appropriate travel cancellation insurance.

 

COVID-19 POLICY

AGE-WELL will continue to closely monitor both government mandates and public health announcements as well as venue policies with regard to COVID-19. We will adjust our approach as needed and keep you up to date with new developments to ensure a coordinated effort and a safe environment for all AGE-WELL Conference attendees. Please assess your own level of risk and comfort when deciding to attend the 2022 AGE-WELL Annual Conference, which will be a largely indoor event.

• Vaccination: At present, our venue requires us to ensure that all attendees of indoor events have proof of full vaccination (at least two doses).
• Face coverings: At present, our venue does not require that attendees wear face masks for indoor events. Masking is, however, encouraged.
