Photobiomodulation is the therapeutic use of primarily red and near infrared light to treat an ever increasing number of ocular disease conditions including myopia, dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and post cataract surgery. It is also being used to treat migraine headaches, the effects of brain injury and is being researched for other neurological disorders.
