Description
The classic glaucoma surgery used to achieve low intraocular pressures in advanced or progressive glaucoma is the bleb forming procedure known as the trabeculectomy. In recent years, two new devices (Xen and PreserFlo) have been produced, that are also bleb-forming, that can achieve comparable low intraocular pressures with certain potential advantages. In this lecture, Dr. Eadie will review these surgeries and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each approach.
