The course discusses the importance of UV and sun safety, explaining the different types of UV light (UV A/B/C) and their effects on eye health. It highlights common eye conditions caused by UV exposure, such as photokeratitis, pterygiums, age-related macular degeneration, and cataracts. It will also provide preventive measures, including the use of protective eyewear, wide-brimmed hats, UV-rated clothing, and behavioral tips to avoid peak sun hour.
