Axial Spondyloarthritis: The Pith and the Myth of Imaging in axSpA Including Updates and Pitfalls
Rob Lambert

In this lecture, I will review the natural history of inflammatory sacroiliitis including some of the myths that may be encountered in the literature. I will provide an update on the latest trends in the imaging of Axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA), including what may or may not be useful in clinical practice, and discuss common pitfalls in image acquisition and interpretation.

By the end of this session, participants should be better able to:
- Recognize the patterns that occur at different stages of inflammatory sacroiliitis
- Apply the principles from which the current recommendations for MRI acquisition in axSpA have been derived, to their clinical practice.
