Viviane Khoury is a musculoskeletal radiologist, currently practicing in a busy private clinical setting in Montreal, Canada focusing on diagnostic and interventional MSK US.

Dr. Khoury earned her medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She completed an internship in internal medicine and surgery, and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. Dr. Khoury then completed a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship with Dr. Donald Resnick at the University of California San Diego Medical Center.

She has served as academic faculty at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal and the McGill University Health Center in Montreal, Canada, and most recently as an Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA, where she led the establishment of a new Musculoskeletal Ultrasound service, focusing on the US diagnosis and treatment of tendon, muscle and joint disorders.

Dr. Khoury is a frequent speaker at several annual academic and CME meetings. She participates in numerous musculoskeletal US courses and workshops throughout the country and internationally, including the annual RSNA Ultrasound course and workshop on Dynamic Musculoskeletal US. Dr. Khoury has several publications relating to US and MRI of the musculoskeletal system, with a focus on clinically-oriented research. She is the inaugural president of the new CAR affiliate society, the Canadian Society of Skeletal Radiology (CSSR).
