Dr. An Tang, MD, MSc, FCAR is a Professor of
 Radiology at the Université de Montréal, abdominal radiologist at the Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM) and researcher at its Research Center. His research program on quantitative imaging biomarkers of chronic liver disease and liver cancers is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and by Onco-Tech. He has also received research funding from the Institute for Data Valorization (IVADO) for research on clinical applications of AI and is co-leader of IVADO’s Working Group on Health Systems. He was the inaugural and former Chair of the Canadian Association of Radiologists’ AI Standing Committee from 2017-2021. He is a recipient of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Honored Educator award.
