Dr. Jaron Chong is the Chair, Canadian Association of Radiologists Artificial Intelligence Standing Committee. He has co-authored five of CAR’s White Papers focused on machine
learning, ethical and legal issues related to AI, assessment and validation of AI software and de-identification of medical imaging. Dr. Chong is an Assistant Professor, Division of Body
Imaging, Department of Medical Imaging, Western University and a Masters in Health Informatics from the University of Toronto Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. His research interests include genitourinary oncology, and artificial intelligence development and validation.
