The supply chains for energy storage technologies (most immediately BESS) continue to evolve within the broader international context of tariffs and trade policy, which have been a key point of conversation in 2025. The province of Ontario is advancing a North American supply chain for energy & energy storage, including critical minerals. This panel will provide insights from key stakeholders about the requirements of a North American supply chain, what a realistic path forward could look like and the role for the critical mineral industry to continue to support Canada’s energy advantage.
