An experienced executive with a demonstrated history of working in the manufacturing, global logistics, e-commerce, training & development and the utility industries.

In her current role, as Chief Customer Officer, Julie is responsible for developing and implementing the customer strategy, transforming the total customer experience, and guiding the direction of the business in terms of customer needs. Julie leads the Customer Service, Communications and Public Affairs, and Conservation and Demand Management teams at Hydro Ottawa. She is responsible for the customer service, marketing, product development, communications, public affairs, corporate reputation, and brand equity functions.

With over 25 years’ experience in Customer Care, Sales and Marketing, Julie has a wide background in business including project management, customer and vendor relations, international partner program management, procurement, sales, marketing, and program development.

Julie serves as a Director on a number of boards include Innovate Utility Customer Experience (IUCX); Energy Storage Canada; Teraflex; the Ottawa Board of Trade; the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Foundation; and also serves on board subcommittees with the Electricity Distributors Association (EDA), the Ontario Energy Association (OEA) and Electricity Canada.
