Asier Ania is a Senior Development Manager at Boralex and has over 18 years of experience in renewables, energy storage, strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. In the last 8 years he has been engaged in the energy storage sector with experience in project development, regulation and stakeholder engagement, technical reviews, financial modelling, business model development and strategic planning. Recently, leveraging his multi-disciplinary experience, he has developed over 500 MW of energy storage projects in Ontario for Boralex. He continues to dream of a future of growing potatoes in a solar + battery powered hydroponic greenhouse on the planet Mars.
