With a decade of experience across North America, Homaira helps communities, utilities, system operators, and regulators navigate complex challenges in renewable integration, grid operations, market design, and demand flexibility.

Homaira serves on the board of the Toronto Renewable Energy Cooperative and holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. Her previous roles include senior policy advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Energy, distribution strategy and energy efficiency consultant at ICF, and intern at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
