Asier Ania is a multidisciplinary clean‑energy leader who turns complex challenges into delivered value. With nearly two decades across renewables, energy storage, innovation, and space, he brings a pragmatic and collaborative approach—aligning diverse teams to move from concept to execution and measurable outcomes. Earlier in the space sector, he worked on mission‑critical Space Station robotics operations and Mars‑focused flight prototypes, solving highly constrained problems with creativity and rigor. Later as an entrepreneur, he translated ideas into real‑world solutions by engaging regulators, partners, customers, and communities. More recently in the last decade, he applies this blend of technical rigor, stakeholder engagement and in-the-trenches leadership to renewable energy development. Over the last nine years, he has led utility‑scale storage initiatives and developed more than 500 MW / 2000 MWh of projects which are operational or in construction. He continues to dream of converging his interests in a future vision of growing potatoes in a solar‑plus‑battery‑powered hydroponic greenhouse on Mars.
