Elinor D’Cunha is the Senior Director of Market Operations at the Independent Electricity System Operator. In this role, she is responsible for the short-term forecasting, planning and real-time operation of the power system in Ontario, ensuring electricity is available when and where it is needed.

Prior to this position, Elinor worked at Ontario Power Generation for 22 years after graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Elinor held a number of positions and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Market Operations, Fuel Procurement & Strategy, Project & Enterprise Risk, Hydro Development, Project Management, New Business Venture, Acquisitions, Commercial Strategy and Contract Negotiation & Management.
