Adam joined ESRG in January 2024 and has played a pivotal role in communicating safety and emergency response procedures related to battery energy storage systems (BESS). He supports permitting processes for BESS developers across both the United States and Canada, helping translate the safety measures within these energy systems into documentation that meets the requirements of authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs). He also delivers public testimony and provides product design support to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Adam's professional endeavors include an ongoing engagement with the Fire Protection Research Foundation (FPRF) of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), where he is involved in a long-term project focused on the safety of battery electric bus (BEB) facilities.

Adam is also a career firefighter with over 15 years of practical experience in the profession and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant. His commitment to public safety is further exemplified by his role as a Group Supervisor for the Fairfield County (Connecticut) Hazardous Incident Response Team (FCHIRT). In this leadership position, he oversees critical responses to hazardous material incidents, ensuring that the highest safety standards are implemented during emergencies.

Adam graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of New Haven.
