Don is the CEO of Minogi Corp., which leads the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation’s growing portfolio of clean‑energy investments. He recently supported a coalition of Williams Treaties First Nations in partnering with Atura Power to secure an IESO contract for a 300 MW, 8‑hour BESS in Napanee - one of North America’s largest - and helped advance a parallel First Nation investment in OPG’s 300 MW BWRX‑300 SMR at Darlington, expected to supply future power to southern Ontario including the Napanee BESS. With over 30 years of experience and nine First Nation economic development corporations launched, Don specializes in partnership structuring, project finance, and rights‑holder governance across the energy, nuclear, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
