COVID-19 Safety Policy

Vision Therapy Canada presents “Better Together in Halifax, in 2023”. We are excited about seeing you on the East Coast, and wish to ensure that all travellers are safe in our community as we celebrate the long-awaited return to in-person events.

The health and safety of everyone attending the event including attendees, staff, volunteers, and suppliers is the top priority for Vision Therapy Canada. As such, we are undertaking preventative measures to reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus at the event, in accordance with COVID-19 regulations provided by the Federal Government of Canada, Province of Nova Scotia, City of Halifax, and the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.

Due to the changing nature of the pandemic, and in order to be compliant with relevant provincial and municipal regulations, it may be necessary for VTC to update its health & safety policy from time to time, including these COVID-19 specific safety rules. We will inform registered participants about substantial changes to this document.

As of October 1, 2022 COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted. There are no longer testing, quarantine and isolation requirements in place in Canada. While masks are no longer required, or proof of vaccination, VTC encourages all participants who feel more comfortable wearing a mask to do so. We also encourage all those who have a flu, cold or are feeling unwell to wear a mask if participating in the conference or social event.
