Dr. Oskar Shura was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, followed by his Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo. He is currently the Pediatric and Vision Therapy Resident, working alongside Dr. Angela Peddle and Dr. Julie Shalhoub. He loves working with children, having coached competitive swimming and Polish folk dancing for many years! He has a strong passion for working with learning and school-related difficulties, and believes that vision is a key factor to consider when treating these issues. In his free time, Oskar loves to hike and travel, and is Toronto FC’s biggest supporter! He is so excited to be attending his second VTC conference, and to be sharing all of these experiences with such a tight-knit community.
