Melissa is responsible for Energy Dome’s North American business. With well over 20 years of energy industry experience, Melissa’s background includes concept through operations across a diverse set of asset types - traditional thermal generation, hydropower, combined heat and power, waste-to-energy recovery, and long duration storage technologies. Melissa has worked for several early-stage companies, having served as VP of Commercialization for a critical climate tech company and as a business development and acquisitions leader for several PE-backed ventures. In prior roles, Melissa helped to found a portfolio operating company, build investment-grade development pipelines and facilitated the redevelopment of a coal-fired trigeneration plant. Melissa’s foundation is rooted in operational engineering, receiving a BS in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. She began her career in the energy space as a field engineer, performing outage work on nuclear power plants.
