Isshu Kikuma is Energy Storage Senior Associate at BloombergNEF. Before moving to BNEF’s Energy Storage Team, he supported the BNEF service for Japan’s energy transition, renewable energy and grid integration. He is the main author of BNEF’s research on ammonia co-firing at coal-fired power plants in Japan, South Asia and Southeast Asia. He was part of the voluntary carbon offset working group in Japan’s Green Transformation (GX) League. He worked in the solar and sustainability fields before joining BNEF.
Isshu holds a master’s degree in environmental management from Duke University and bachelor’s degrees in economics and geography from the State University of New York at Geneseo (SUNY Geneseo).
