He is responsible for advancing Alectra’s commercial initiatives by leveraging emerging technology trends to develop a suite of bespoke energy solutions to help customers achieve a variety of energy goals, including electrification of transportation, energy cost management, enhanced reliability, and sustainability targets.
Ammar has over 15 years of experience across technical, operational, and business development roles in the electric power industry, and has led enterprise strategy development activities, new venture growth, M&A, and operational effectiveness initiatives.
Ammar routinely provides strategic advice and thought leadership on regulatory and power market reforms to facilitate the desired transformation and innovation in the sector.
Ammar is a Professional Engineer and also holds a Masters-in-Law focused on utility and infrastructure.
