Matt Vines is the Vice President, Growth at Hydro One. Matt is responsible for originating and executing
growth initiatives for Hydro One, including project development, strategic investments, new partnerships
and mergers & acquisitions. He has overall accountability for Aux Energy, with oversight of all Aux's
activities across battery storage, electric vehicle charging, and energy management services. Matt also
represents Hydro One as a Director on the Board of Ivy Charging Network, one of Ontario's largest electric
vehicle charging networks. Before his current role at Hydro One, Matt spent over a decade in investment
banking, focusing on executing M&A transactions and financings in the renewable power and utility
sectors across North America. Matt holds HBA and MBA degrees from Ivey Business School at Western
University and is a CFA charterholder.
