Michael “Mike” McManus has been with Mitsubishi Power since April 2018 and is leading the customer acquisition efforts of the energy storage solutions business, including early customer engagement, business development & strategy, and commercial operations. Mike has over 25 years’ experience in the energy sector with leadership positions in business development, product strategy, and product line marketing.

Prior to joining Mitsubishi Power, Mike held a variety of roles at Siemens from 1996 to 2017, including leading the Strategy and Business Development for Onshore Wind, Product Strategy for Gas Turbines and Combined Cycles, as well as thermal design and new product development of gas turbine combined cycles. Early in his career, he worked for an Architect Engineer with roles in operations, commissioning and design of combined cycle facilities.

His career began with the Parsons Power Group in 1989 as a Mechanical Engineer. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
