In 2009 Carlos Sanyer graduated from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) in Ecuador obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunications. Following graduation he worked for a local company for almost 5 years as a predictive maintenance engineer, during this role Carlos facilitated the large-scale adoption of predictive maintenance solutions such as vibration analysis, reaching many local industries and helping in the implementation and design of the first online vibration monitoring system in the region. In 2012 Sanyer moved to Canada and pursued a master’s degree in Engineering Management from Memorial University on Newfoundland graduating in 2015, since then, Carlos has contributed to several organizations and large-scale projects. In his current role with Genoa Design as a Product Manager, Carlos is focused on identifying and developing opportunities in the area of digital twins applied to the entire lifecycle of marine ships.
