With a university background in Economics and international Management, Elvis Ettenhofer has a working experience of fifteen years in the marine industry in different roles. He started as a project manager for the execution of international marine new build projects and changed 2014 to the marine four stroke sales department. There he was responsible for international Sales projects with the focus mainly on LNG fuelled Vessels. 2021 and 2022 he took over the responsibility as the regional Sales Head for the MAN 4 Stroke Portfolio in Asia Pacific and was located in Shanghai with his Family. Since 2023 he is the Head of New Marine Solutions at MAN Energy Solutions for the Medium Speed Marine business unit. In his new role he manages all external business development and promotion activities with focus on new Marine Solutions and evaluates trends, developments, and requirements in the space of alternative marine fuels/propulsion and digitalization to shape those into products/services for the future.
