Tiernan Power is a naval architect at Vard Marine Inc, a leading naval architecture and marine engineering company in North America. Tiernan works on the product development team, where he is the technical lead responsible for the design of vessels to serve the offshore industry. Tiernan is also leading the efforts on the energy transition within Vard Marine’s Research and Innovation group. Since the start of his career, he has been heavily involved in projects and studies for alternative fuels and low emission vessels. Tiernan is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario and holds a Bachelor in Ocean and Naval Architectural Engineering from Memorial University in Newfoundland, Canada.
