Hugo Daniel received his M.S. degree from Université de Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Canada, in 2022, in electrical engineering. He is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Université de Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Canada which is sponsored by Fednav. Hugo is also a member of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) shore power working group since 2022. His Ph.D. project is done in partnership with Fednav and his research interests include maritime electrification, shore power, zero-emission vessels, hybrid systems and multi-objective resolution.
