Description

Shipbuilding is often accused of moving slowly. Now, as a focus on sovereign capabilities elevates the importance of shipbuilding for security and economic stability, we're tasked with building more ships better, faster, and cheaper. Technology like AI will be the catalyst that allows us to achieve lofty goals, but how do we avoid thrashing around in the hopes of moving quicker, wasting more time on talk than action in the process?  In this keynote, SSI CEO Denis Morais shows how to move forward in a structured yet agile manner to capitalize on what the industry needs and how leaders need to position their organizations in this new era. When almost half of time spent at work is wasted, those that waste as little as possible will emerge as successful.  In particular, Morais shares how shipbuilders can use AI and other innovations to access information faster, collaborate across companies, address workforce shortages, and build more complex vessels on more predictable timelines.
