Marine Engineer who holds a Chief Engineers License for both Motor / Steam Ships, and HNC Mechanical Engineering, has sailed on Ro Pax Ferries, Passenger, Cargo vessels ,Bulk Carriers, Oil Tankers and Ice Breakers (Beaufort Sea) and Three years ashore with Rolls Royce and Associates at HMS Vulcan engaged in trials and testing of nuclear propulsion systems for RN.
BCIT Marine Campus teaching Thermodynamics, Applied Mechanics, Control and Automation and managed the Propulsion Plant simulator.
Twenty three years with Lloyds Register starting in Vancouver as surveyor, surveying machinery and hull on most vessel types. Moved to LR Toronto office as Surveyor in Charge , then to regional operations manager Great Lakes and Atlantic Canada and subsequently as business / Client Manager for Central and Eastern Canada, including Quebec, Arctic.
Joined Federal Fleet Services 2021 as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for management and operations of Combat Support Ship MV Asterix to present and support of other projects for the Inocea group.
