My Approach to Vision Related Learning Problems (Part 2)
This course is intended to teach a comprehensive approach helping children who are struggling in school and will cover a wide range of topics from a theoretical and clinical perspective, including patient history, examination, special testing, parent consultation, and visual therapy. It draws on a background of visual science, education, psychology, and philosophy, to present a comprehensive approach to children with difficulty learning rooted in science but clinically tested. Relevant research is discussed but the emphasis is on management of visual dysfunction, including oculomotor dysfunction, difficulty with laterality and directionality, and spelling problems, among other topics.
