Scott Adams, MD, PhD, FRCPC is a cardiothoracic radiologist at Royal University Hospital and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Saskatchewan.

Dr. Adams completed his MD, PhD, and residency at the University of Saskatchewan, studying as a Vanier Scholar and receiving the Governor General’s Gold Medal. He completed a clinical fellowship in cardiothoracic imaging at Stanford University and a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Adams’ clinical and research interests are at the intersection of cardiothoracic imaging, artificial intelligence, and improving access to care for underserved populations. He is a past recipient of the Artificial Intelligence Health Research Fellowship from Innovative Medicines Canada, Amis Fellowship in Quality and Safety from the American College of Radiology, President’s Award from the American Roentgen Ray Society, and Canadian Institutes of Health Research Fellowship. In 2020 he was recognized by the Canadian Medical Association as a Physician Changemaker.
