Scott Adams, MD, PhD, FRCPC is a cardiothoracic radiologist at Royal University Hospital.
Dr. Adams completed his MD, PhD, and residency at the University of Saskatchewan, studying as a Vanier Scholar and receiving the Governor General’s Gold Medal. He completed clinical and research fellowships in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging at Stanford University, Harvard Medical School, and Massachusetts General Hospital, and an MEd at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Adams’ clinical and research interests are at the intersection of cardiothoracic imaging, artificial intelligence, and improving access to care for underserved populations. He is a past recipient of the Artificial Intelligence Health Research Fellowship from Innovative Medicines Canada, Amis Fellowship in Quality and Safety from the American College of Radiology, and Robert Maudsley Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
