Dr. Kulkarni, is an Associate Professor and Division Head, Breast Imaging, at the University of Toronto’s Department of Medical Imaging. She is the President of the Canadian Society of Breast Imaging and is a Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging.
She is breast imaging radiologist within the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI), has over 23 years’ experience with clinical breast imaging, working in hospitals with patients, in multiple capacities including within the Ontario Breast Screening Program, the largest organized screening program in Canada.
She is internationally renowned for her teaching and education and has over 150 didactic lectures, numerous visiting professor engagements, and is a recipient of several teaching, mentorship awards for postgraduate education and contribution to cancer education.
