Dr. Marcos Loreto Sampaio is an MSK radiologist and MSK section head at The Ottawa Hospital / U. Ottawa. He is an Assistant Professor at the U. Ottawa since 2009, with cross-appointment in the Orthopedic Surgery Division. He has a particular interest in MSK ultrasound and MRI techniques. Research interests include imaging in neuromuscular disease, spondyloarthropathy, dynamic ultrasound, and Dixon MRI technique. In prior years, U. Ottawa students, radiology residents, and fellows awarded him as the best radiology teacher. He also holds a degree in Electronic Engineering and is an amateur musician in his spare time.
