Dr. Raman Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. He completed his residency training in Ottawa, followed by a Breast and Women’s Imaging fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago.
He is a breast radiologist at the Rose Ages Breast Health Centre at The Ottawa Hospital, where he is involved in all aspects of breast imaging and intervention. Dr. Verma has a strong interest in teaching and mentoring and has delivered invited CME lectures locally, nationally, and internationally.
He previously served as the Radiology Residency Program Director at the University of Ottawa, where he led the transition to a competence-based medical education model in 2022. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Society of Breast Imaging and is the Regional Breast Imaging Lead for the Champlain Region.
