• Fortunate to have had 9 mentors from an early age including indigenous elders
• Operated tugboats on the Coast from the age of 10 years.
• Half my life on the water operating tugs and half ashore in shipyards evolving into design and training.
• In 1976 started commercial modeling and testing for major marine companies. i.e. RAL. Crowley Marine, Elliot Bay, Group Ocean etc.
• Designed, tested and supplied models for training centres around the world.
• MCDV design testing for RCN in St. John’s NFLD
• Supplied test model of ASD tug for American Navy and testing at the Steven’s Institute in Hoboken NJ.
• Designed training tug BRAtt in collaboration with Robert Allan.
• Presented at the International Tug and Salvage conferences from 1996 to present time.
• Recipient of the “Beaver Award” from the Lieutenant Governor of B.C. for Marine Excellence and MISTIC award (Mid-Island Science & Technology Innovation Council) for developing a propulsion system for ROVs.
• In short, these are my abilities, I can:

- Build the full sized boat
