Anna Reeves
Footprints Therapy
Anna Reeves graduated from Dalhousie University with her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2005. Since then she has worked in tertiary children hospitals, schools, orphanages, NGO’s, and companies all over the world. Anna loves to incorporate children’s play ideas in therapy and places great value on parent-child relationship and is a strong advocate for parents playing central role in their child’s development. Anna has worked extensively with children and youth with developmental delay, neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida.
She has also provided services to a wide range of diagnoses including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, AD/HD, learning disabilities, fine motor delay, sensory processing difficulties as well as emotional regulation difficulties. Anna also experience in seating assessment. Recently she has shown a keen interest in how the visual system play an integral role on the auditory, vestibular, proprioceptive and the tactile system which in turns contribute to the child’s ability to emotionally regulate. Anna is registered with the College of Occupational Therapy in Ontario (COTO) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT)
