Non-invasive Detection of Liver Fibrosis with Quantitative Imaging Methods

This will be an overview of the current noninvasive methods used for detecting liver fibrosis and cirrhosis in patients with chronic liver diseases, including ultrasound and MR Elastography. We will discuss their respective performances, pitfalls and limitations.

By the end of this session, participants should be better able to:
- Review imaging methods and their performance for noninvasive detection of liver fibrosis in patients ts with liver disease. 
- Review pitfalls and limitations of noninvasive tests.
